Guest list rules tell guests what the door expects before they set out: when to arrive, what to wear and how the venue runs its list.
Where to set them
- Open your event and go to Guest-list settings.
- Scroll to Guest list rules.
Arrival cutoffs
You can set separate arrive-by times for women and for men. These are arrival cutoffs, not a signup deadline — the RSVP deadline elsewhere in your settings controls when signups close.
Each cutoff has a Remove button if you want to clear it again.
When door staff scan a guest after their category's cutoff, the scanner shows a red past cutoff warning. Check-in is still possible — the warning just makes letting a late guest in a deliberate choice rather than an accident.
Dress code and house rules
- Dress code — a short line, up to 160 characters.
- House rules — up to 400 characters for anything else guests should know.
Where guests see the rules
The rules display automatically — you do not need to copy them anywhere:
- on the public event page, above the join form;
- in each guest's confirmation email;
- on the event page promoters see, so they can brief their guests.
