Getting started

What are Stacks and how do I level up?

What are Stacks?

Stacks build as you show up. It is a simple way to track your activity on Crowdstack and see how your participation compares with friends.

Every time you register for an event, check in at the door, or connect with other members, you earn points. These points add up to your total Stacks score. As your score grows, you move up through levels and into new bands.

You can view your current level, total points and recent activity on the Stacks page.

How to level up

Levels come quickly at first and stay worth having later. To raise your level, you need to earn more points by taking part in events.

Common ways to earn Stacks include:

  1. Registering for an event – You receive points when you sign up through a promoter or organiser link.
  2. Checking in at the door – Arriving and scanning your QR pass earns you a higher amount than registration alone.
  3. Confirming a table booking – If you request and confirm a table at an event, you earn additional points.
  4. Connecting with friends – When you form connections or invite friends who join the platform, you receive bonus points.

Your progress bar on the Stacks page shows how many points you need to reach the next level. Once you cross that threshold, your level increases automatically.

Understanding bands

As you level up, you also move into new bands. These bands reflect your overall standing in the Crowdstack community.

  • Early levels place you in local bands.
  • Higher levels unlock rarer bands that fewer members reach.

You can see your current band next to your level on your profile and on the leaderboard.

Tracking your progress

The Stacks page displays:

  • Your current level and total points.
  • A visual meter showing progress to the next level.
  • A list of recent activities that earned you points.
  • Leaderboards comparing you with friends and other opted-in members.

If you want to appear on the global Spotlight leaderboard, you must opt in via your account settings. Your friends leaderboard works regardless of this setting.

Stacks are designed to reward consistent participation. The more events you attend and the more you engage, the faster you level up.
